About Salesforce B2C:
The Salesforce B2C business unit is comprised of the Retail and Consumer Goods vertical (including all products sold by Salesforce), the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
About the Position:
The Salesforce B2C team is seeking a seasoned executive for the Cloud Sales business. This person, as a third (and potentially fourth) line leader, will play a key role leading highly visible and motivated teams across a variety of products, segments, and regions within North America, aligned to the B2C business unit. The selected person will be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy for Salesforce B2C and its associated solution set.
Responsibilities:
• Assume leadership of a growing Cloud Sales organization of AVPs, RVPs, and AEs across multiple products
• Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate 30%+ annual growth in revenue and bookings
• Align with product, marketing, and customer success teams to develop a cross-functional strategy, narrative, and competitive positioning that allows for growth of our portfolio and lasting customer success
• Mentor and develop the sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives
• Coach direct reports regarding key account strategies to drive closure
• Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
• Align and leverage internal resources to build, develop, and close strategic account wins
• Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
Required Skills/Experience:
• 2nd or 3rd line leadership experience leading teams in enterprise strategic sales in the US
• Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise cloud sales organization
• Consistent over achievement of quota and revenue goals
• 10+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP and/or B2B SW company), selling primarily to the CxO level
• Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
• C-suite level resources, aligned with regional executives, AEs, and internal leadership teams to present a single front internally and help represent a single vision for our customers
• Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
• Strong operational and analytical abilities
• Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings
