THE TEAM
The Global Commercial Strategy team connects our customers with the value of Eventbrite. We do this in several ways using a variety of different techniques, systems and tools. In all cases our guiding light is to adapt to the needs of the business. We start with our strategy, look at the organization as it exists today and adapt ourselves to be what the organization needs to achieve excellent results against that strategy.
THE CHALLENGE
We have several acquisition focused Sales teams around the world. The challenge is to work with these teams, determine what’s needed to make them more successful and then make that happen. This role is not for the person who likes to be told precisely what to focus on. This an open ended role that requires people to listen well, leverage their experience and learn new things quickly. Areas of focus span our global compensation philosophy, quota planning and management, salesforce effectiveness and an overall strategy for the deployment of a global sales organization.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Commercial Strategy, you will be a leader on our Commercial Strategy team. And you will work with sales leaders and other stakeholders across the globe who collectively manage our global salesforce. You will ensure that our regional teams have an appropriate strategy for their market while leveraging the learnings of other markets. You’ll be expected to know the performance of each market and use that knowledge to optimize our global sales strategy. This is an opportunity for you to leverage sales experience in a strategic and global context.
