The Global Expansion Associate will be responsible for supporting the transition of P2P, T&E, billing and payroll processes for both M&A, New / Existing markets and new business lines with WeWork The Global Expansion Senior Analyst will assist in conducting due diligence on local requirements, coordinating and executing integration plans for local activity and preparing the Shared Services organization for the new business. The key objective of this position is to ensure all new WeWork business activity can integrate within the Shared Services division.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain project plans for global expansion projects and post-merger integrations
• Define and coordinate the regional requirements gathering process for all finance transformation projects
• Research and document local finance and reporting requirements in new cities and countries in the Greater China region
• Document the support model and workflows related to all Shared Services and Accounting functions for the region
• Conduct due diligence on the current state of Finance/Shared Services operations for global expansion activity
• Support execution of M&A conversion activities across Shared Services and Finance
• Communicate changes in processes to key stakeholders across the organization
• Assist in defining and creating training documentation and updating any policy and procedure documentation
• Liaise with the Global Shared Services and Business Systems teams to identify and define system modifications to address ongoing issues
• Revisit existing markets to ensure all processes run efficiently
• Work cross functionally with respective teams within Shared Services to help scale the business and drive success
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Consulting
• Demonstrates an ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
• Business proficiency in Spanish a plus
• Experience in issue management, troubleshooting and risk management
• Experience working with SAP, Oracle, Workday or other Finance ERP Systems
• Ability to analyze and organize data to identify key drivers and trends
• Desire to succeed in a data-driven, fast changing, and entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
