What You'll Do
We have an exciting Sales Operations Director role open on our team. This role will allow you to drive overall growth into the market within our Global Enterprise Segment.
• You will have overall sales leadership responsibilities for a targeted set of strategic accounts (local and global combined).
• Your team will consist of approximately 25 Account Managers; reporting through 13 Direct reports.
• You will also have a matrix team of Product Specialists, Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, Service Delivery Executives, Legal and Finance.
Who You'll Work With
You will use your experience to strategically drive Cisco's end-to-end vision for our Global customers, as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of industry conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements. In addition to leading "one winning team", you will work closely and with Cisco's most senior executives within Customer Advocacy, Technology Business Units, and Cisco's Executive Sales team.
Inclusive of its global responsibilities, this is the one of the largest, most visible, and complex roles within Cisco's Enterprise Sales Organization.
Who You Are
In this key leadership role, you will continue the development of our sales delivery model through the capability of our highly talented and motivated sales organization. You know how to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.
• You will be setting a vision and building strategic business decision-making capability to the next level will be a major factor for success in this position.
• You will also be able to motivate, inspire, and continually develop your teams and channel partners while pursuing new competitors as Cisco continues to gain market share outside its leading data networking core.
• You are a senior manager with 8+management experience, you will possess both sales leadership and cross functional/general management experience.
• You have 8+ years in management roles selling solutions to senior executives at named accounts.
• You have a demonstrated track record leading significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals. Business Development and strategy experience required.
• You have ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
• You adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
• You have a strong executive presence, you are polished, politically savvy and you have strong leadership skills in mentoring and developing a sales organization for 50+ people.
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
