What You'll Do
We desire an innovative, ‘out of the box’ thinker with confirmed ability to execute to help transform how we drive operational readiness with our partners. The Global Partner Readiness (GPR) Service strategy is to establish an analytics driven service, to move to digital content, ensure globally consistent execution, and demonstrate the power of the Customer and Partner Services (CPS) organization. Reporting to the Americas Regional Operations VP within Cisco’s CPS team, as the leader of Global Partner Readiness, you will lead and execute the Global Partner Readiness strategy and operating model using a data-driven approach. The team’s mission is to accelerate partner’s readiness to transact with Cisco – both from a transformational perspective (software and recurring offer operational capabilities) and a run-the-business perspective (CCW and other partner tools/platforms/capabilities).
Who You'll Work With
You will run a small and mighty team that lead different parts of the readiness operating model, including Intake, Content and Training Development, Global Expertise and Training Delivery, Distribution, and Partner Co-Innovation. You’ll manage a continuous pipeline of readiness requirements that Cisco needs to communicate, train, and deliver effectively to our partners, requiring a robust analytics and data-driven approach to understand and measure impact for our partners and Cisco.
Who You Are
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be visible and interact directly with senior leadership within CPS and other Cisco organizations. The GPR Team is the central readiness team and distributor of content and training to our partners, making you a key influencer in how we accelerate transformation to SW centric business model by providing partners with content, training, workshops to adopt offers and capabilities. You will:
• Develop the long term strategy for scalable and digital Global Partner operational Readiness
• Enable the team to build a structure for scale and also where Partners have access to SMEs for critical capabilities
• Run a global and diverse team that uses WebEx Teams, WebEx, and other technology tools/platforms to collaborate from office and remote locations
• Set priorities, goals and figure out metrics to assess effectiveness, strengths and areas of improvement
• Report progress to the Digital Transformation Portfolio Team, including performance against target and mitigation plans when targets are not met
• Drive programs to accelerate Partner’s operational readiness for Software and Recurring Offers
• Be the key communicator within CPS and externally on how Cisco is transforming how we train and increase competency and operational capability to our partners
• Implement and lead changes and interventions to ensure goals are achieved
• Handle budget and operating plan
• Act as the lead of the GPR Team and collaborate cross-functionally within CPS and with other Cisco functions - establish relationships, drive agreement for programs and potential co-delivery of such programs, and assess Partner’s evolving needs and strategies.
Minimim Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in an operations or partner ecosystem
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA desired
• Solid understanding of the Quote to Order process
• Experience in change management and adoption
• Experience with Partner and Channel Operations
• Sales experience is a plus
