Transfer Pricing Manager
Wework is looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager to partner with WeWork’s Global Tax Team to support WeWork’s International Tax Services, State and Local Tax Services and Supply Chain Management.
This is a challenging and fast paced position that requires a candidate to understand financial reports and prepare financial and economic analyses of inter-company transactions involving cross border flows of goods, services and intangible property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist and consult with outside tax advisors to determine appropriate arm’s length prices for intercompany, cross-border charges;
• Maintain compliance with all intercompany agreement requirements, calculations, and payments;
• Perform economic and financial analyses in support of business decisions;
• Assist in preparing audit analyses, support audit-ready files and draft memorandums/reports, as appropriate;
• Assist in drafting memorandums and reports describing transactions, analyses performed and conclusions;
• Work with external advisors to comply with US and local country transfer pricing filing requirements;
• Interact with tax and business partners, present transfer pricing planning strategies, answer technical questions, accounting and ledger questions, or other business information required for transfer pricing studies and
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks with sensitive deadlines while ensuring accuracy and overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar disciplines) and Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or CPA, ASA (or equivalent similar professional designation)
• At least 5+ years of experience in Tax/Accounting/Transfer Pricing with understanding of business models, and financial statements;
• Big 4 and/or large multi-national in-house tax department experience preferred
• Demonstrate ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong analytical skills and focus on detail
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to extract and interpret data from various internal systems
• Excellent time management, communication (verbal and written), decision-making, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
