The
Senior Associate, Global Mobility will be involved in the day-to-day management of business visa program as well as coordinating global mobility due diligence projects. This role will report to the Manager, Global Mobility. The responsibilities of this position include a wide variety of duties requiring strict attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. Associate, Global Mobility will be responsible for the following:
Business Visa Administration and Compliance:
• Administer the business visa process by coordinating with regional leads in the team, as well as other point of contact in each region, and drafting invitation letters and cover letters. May be required to go to Consulates on behalf of executives
• Point of contact for ad-hoc projects for company-wide events, and directly work with events team and employees who require visa assistance
• Point of contact for all business visa inquiries for extended and frequent business travelers, and also advise on cross border individual income tax implications
• Review and determine the necessary actions and advise on the business visa process
Due Diligence Program Administration:
• Work with our immigration, tax, and relocation services providers to compile the global compliance requirements for immigration, individual income taxes, and relocation
• Create and update new market expansion compliance playbook/guidebook for our internal stakeholders, including people operations, talent acquisitions, and people partners
• Work with vendors and internal stakeholders (i.e. Finance/Legal/People) to establish sponsorship license with relevant immigration/government authorities
• Align with People team to help understand red flags and risks
• Educate and train internal stakeholders to sync on as well as new market expansion due diligence process
• Administer the end-to-end global mobility global expansion due diligence projects, using the project management tools
• May work with regional leads to create and draft non-U.S. domestic relocation policies
• Assist the team with ongoing global mobility projects and help come up with solutions to improve and scale our program
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in process development and execution (project documentation, briefs, and state reports)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management
• Willing to learn and assist with other ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of all Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to work flexible hours
• People person who is passionate about traveling
