Role: Director, Partner Marketing: Agencies and ISVs
Location: San Francisco, CA – HQ (preferred) and Remote US
Do you want to be a part of the best Partner Marketing team in the global technology industry?
We're looking for experienced Partner Marketing leaders who are passionate about co-marketing with Partners and ISVs, have a proven track record of driving joint marketing plans that deliver value, and know how to build strategic relationships across a fast-paced and complex organization.
The Directors of Partner Marketing will work with one to two of our strategic ISV, Consulting and/or Agency Partners to create a unique marketing plan by Partner. Our marketing plans bring to life the strategy of marketing to, through and with our Partners to win hearts and minds and deliver joint value. This role calls for a get it done approach with the ability to think and act strategically in a fast-paced and complex organization.
These positions require a unique mix of alliances & channels experience, industry marketing experience that is grounded in a foundation of traditional and digital/social marketing.
The ideal candidate is a leader that has experience working with ISVs, Consulting Partners, possesses excellent relationship-building skills and enjoys the responsibility of owning their programs end-to-end while collaborating with key constituencies. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and relish operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and competitive environment with a focus on partner and customer success.
Responsibilities:
• Create sophisticated partner marketing plans focused on the full marketing mix
• Lead the marketing strategy with top app innovation partners.
• Be an expert collaborator who knows Salesforce marketing inside and out in order to be the best possible partner advisor and advocate.
• Manage team of marketers and marketing operations function.
• Own flawless end-to-end execution of integrated marketing plans
• Provide consistent and clear communications to all stakeholders
• Be an effective business partner with Alliances Directors, Partner Sales Managers, Field and Corporate Marketing and the Industry team to ensure partner success and Salesforce success
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies
• Lead, track and measure customer and partner success
Required Skills/Experience:
• Highly motivated team player with high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business
• Strategic and analytical thinker, while also having strong creative skills
• Experience creating and building relationships and engaging partners and sales teams – experience working with Executives, Consulting Partners, and ISVs is desired
• Strong executive presence with proven ability to present in formal and informal settings
• Strong written and verbal communications, high credibility presence.
• Proven ability to manage up, down, and across effectively
• Metrics-driven marketing mind and familiarity with marketing analytics platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and build excellent rapport with internal teams
• 10+ years experience in marketing with an emphasis in B2B technology campaigns, product, and/or partner marketing, with at least 5 years within Alliances/Partner/Product/Industry marketing within high tech industry (preferably for an enterprise CRM)
• Degree in Marketing or related field required. MBA desired.
• Experience using Salesforce is a huge plus.
