Senior Manager, Growth Intelligence & Analytics
With the creation of a function focused on Strategy and Growth analytics, we are looking for a Senior Manager to join our newly launched team that will operate like an internal consulting group for the Enterprise business. WeWork has reinforced its commitment to use data, analytics and test and learn to drive both growth and efficiency. This leader will be a critical, strategic thought partner, working across the organization to drive value in one of newest and highest growth business lines - Enterprise. This is an opportunity to join a hyper-growth start-up and be an integral part in the company’s Growth organization
This Senior Manager will apply structured problem-solving skills to co-develop strategies and lead cross-functional initiatives that drive value across the Enterprise organization. Key projects will focus primarily on growth, innovation, new business models, and operational efficiency across WeWork’s global operations. This role will work closely with senior leaders across the organization, during both strategy definition, as well as execution. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding commercial acumen, refined communication skills and comfort with the ambiguity of a high-growth company. 3-6 years of Strategy Consulting experience is mandatory.
Key responsibilities
• Partner with the Finance, Sales, Digital, Real Estate, Design, Development and Marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and develop growth strategies that leverage our global position, unique capabilities, unmatched scale and resources, and brand equity
• Help to build team’s reputation as a step-change thinker, action-driver, and value-creator by providing action-oriented solutions to complex questions
• Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis to support conclusions and influence decisions, including market segmentation and sizing, market trend and competitive landscape analyses, client portfolio analyses, business and financial modeling, operations analyses, etc.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of our capital, operating expenses, and SG&A expenses as we scale the business globally
• Succinctly synthesize analyses into compelling presentations that identify key trends, insights, and implications while aligning stakeholders on action plan
• Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate them
Qualifications and Skills
• 3-6 years of work experience at a Strategy Consulting Firm required, including direct experience managing project teams
• BA/BS degree from leading school; MBA preferred
• Must possess advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; Proficiency with Tableau strongly desired
• Must be detail-oriented and keen to dig into numbers and variances
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and pro-active learner
