Product Manager
The Product Manager on our Revenue Systems team will focus on the inception and delivery of revenue related products in our enterprise ERP tool. The candidate will work to overhaul and maintain global initiatives, like Invoice Management and Cash Application, as the business builds towards the future. The Product Manager will partner with various arms of the business, including Technology, Finance, Shared Services, and others, leveraging their own insight to implement robust, scalable tools for the business.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the business teams to understand functional requirements and execute them through successful implementation, testing and deployment with required documentation
• Assist in delivering new functionality within Workday to enhance the revenue process and support new business initiatives
• Organization of product requirements and management of development schedule
• Work directly with design/development teams on sprint scheduling and functionality testing
• Educate global team members on new functionality and scheduled features
• Translate business needs into requirement specifications for integration with 3rd party systems
• Research and test potential solutions for future functionality
• Work with billing and payment teams to determine opportunities for improvement
• Partner with Technology to streamline system integrations and enhance existing business processes
Experience/Skill Requirements
• 2 years of Workday Financial systems (or similar) experience preferred
• In-depth understanding of revenue and billing processes preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field required; MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years hands-on Product Management experience required
• Implementation lifecycle experience, preferably with project management, issue management, communication, and change management exposure. Experience with JIRA a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of financial/accounting principles and best practice
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
