Purpose Of The Job
The Director, Business Systems Development provides leadership and vision in all phases of systems development (overseas TTHigo system) for the delivery of effective business system solutions to meet internal customer needs. This position requires exceptional organizational, financial, team building, relationship and project management skills. Position must ensure staff adherence to IT and company policy directives.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates remote staff teams, including Shanghai and Taiwan EC teams, including setting priorities, job scheduling, and employee performance reviews.
• Serves as the primary interface between project stakeholders, inter-department management and the development team, third party vendors, and business leaders.
• Provide advice and counsel on business development issues to business unit.
• Oversee development of strategies of new business growth.
• Participate in planning and execution of special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Manages the design and development of business systems for all IT customers utilizing both internal and external resources.
• Responsible for the architecture of systems to ensure practical and efficient implementation, with consideration to cost/budget constraints.
• Prepares and maintains business requirement documents, project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, performance reporting, and other system documentation.
• Support oversea ttHigo ecommerce applications and related business units.

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
• Bachelors in Computer Science or similar field preferred or 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree a plus.
• 8-10 years of work experience in application and/or systems development
• Extensive knowledge of e-commerce software application and SSL domain
• Minimum of 3-5 years of staff management experience
• Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required.

Ability to consistently deliver projects on time, on budget, and as designed.
Understand and be familiar with the direct to consumer business model.
Knowledge of eCommerce web site systems required to operate proficiently.
Physical Functions:
Must be able to communicate by phone, email and office communicator with foreign entity members and functional users located in USA and Asia.
Sitting for extended periods is common.
No heavy lifting is expected.
Equipment Used
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software, computer and telephone.
Work Environment
Work primarily at the US office but may need to travel to offices in Asia.
Must be able to change working hours and working location to support development tasks as required.
Job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
Activities include extensive work at a computer monitor
