• Work with with Marketing, Public Affairs, Sales, and other teams to research, produce, and execute events that effectively drive awareness and leads for WeWork community and locations (including launch events, conference presence / sponsorships, pop-ups, field activations, etc)
• Assist in the development and management the programming and partnerships of hyper-localized events within your territory with the end goal of lead generation
• Work with Manager to drive and manage the internal and external events strategy and creative development, including budgeting, processes, programming, and working with internal and external partners
• Actively source quality partners and vendors to negotiate best in class rates, facilitate project management and invoice payment
• Help build and maintain event run of shows and advance to the necessary parties, with focus on premium consumer journey
• Collaborate with functional partners in Community, Sales, Public Affairs, Brand, Email to Marketing, A/V, Ops and Security for internal and external event needs to ensure maximum attendance, appropriate staffing and flawless execution
• Manage day-to-day troubleshooting including check in, fulfilling riders, deliveries, A/V, seating charts, load in/out, etc).
• Develop and manage events-related partnerships (e.g. F&B, programming, etc)
• Help manage frequent stakeholder interactions and communications with Community and Sales teams, as well as a wide range of other functions, including Marketing and Public Affairs
• Develops and nurtures relationships with global and regional partners, structuring relationships and helping guide these through project management with our Partnerships Director and territory teams
• Maintains and meets budget guidelines for all programming within territory, ensuring we maintain strict budget systems and guidelines
• Assist sales team with development of marketing materials for events and program, building-specific marketing strategy and creative campaigns per region
• Ensures compliance of local laws/restrictions for programming
Experience and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in events management, real estate, marketing, and project management, or related field(s)
• Results driven and able to ensure completion of tasks
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Creative thinking and flexibility -- ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
• High level of personal credibility, networking and interpersonal skills, dependability, and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage critical situations
• Proactive and reliable; driven to achieve team goals
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and demonstrate team leadership skills
• Strategic and analytical thinker
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) and presentation software
• Evaluate post-event ROI, in coordination with Programming Events Director / Manager, and other partners.
