THE CHALLENGE
At Eventbrite, our mission is to bring the world together through live experiences. To do that we aim to deliver groundbreaking event organizer tools and attendee experiences for creators and consumers globally. We’re looking for an experienced leader to head up our Product Marketing team to help us gather deep insights from our customers and translate that into a compelling and breakthrough product positioning and marketing strategy.
THE TEAM
The Eventbrite Brand team is a centralized group of strategists, designers, marketers,researchers and makers, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product.
THE ROLE
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the efforts of translating customer insights into product strategy, as well as leading the product GTM strategies by putting the customer experience at the core. You are a leader, an influencer, a mentor, and a practitioner. You are as excited to dive into research and connect with customers as you are leading a product naming strategy. You excel at bringing a customer centric perspective to the product strategy and inspiring designers to create engaging experiences. You thrive in a dynamic, agile environment leading enthusiastic team members and collaborating with cross functional teams.
YOUR IMPACT
• Develop a product marketing strategy and roadmap to serve all customers and product categories
• Partner with research and insights team to integrate customer insights into the product strategy and positioning
• Drive high level product positioning and messaging framework across all products and services
• Drive the development of, and ongoing understanding of customer journey maps and how the organization can support them at various touch points
• Lead a team of product marketing managers that connect our products and features to our core customers by humanizing the technology
• Drive development of tools that all parts of the organization can leverage including segmentation, naming architecture, and GTM best practices
THE SKILL SET
• At least 12 years of product marketing experience for digital products, ideally with a multi-faceted platform at the core
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders across the company including product and international teams
• Self-aware teammate with highly developed emotional intelligence
• Ability to clearly set and juggle priorities to focus on the most important issues
• Extraordinary communication and partnering skills, including prior experience communicating to senior-level executives
• You’re a good person.
