About the Role
This position will report to the Bank Chief Compliance Officer, and primarily be responsible for supporting E*TRADE’s compliance with the requirements applicable to a Savings and Loan Holding Company over $50 Billion in assets and serving as the compliance partner for the Treasury, Markets and Finance business units.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing compliance consultation, guidance, and training for Accounting, Treasury and Finance business units, including advising:
◦ Capital requirements;
◦ Regulatory reporting: and
◦ Liquidity requirements.
Designing an executing compliance program specialized compliance programs, including Volcker Rule and Transactions with Affiliates (Regulation W).
Qualifications
• o Minimum of 10+ years of experience with compliance and/or risk-related activities for a federally regulated bank over $50 billion in assets, or similar experience at a federal banking agency.
◦ Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements for safety & soundness, capital, liquidity, financial reporting, and other federal laws and regulations.
◦ Ability to quickly and accurately synthesize regulatory requirements and communicate requirements effectively.
◦ Strong critical thinking skills
◦ Experience in creating and delivering presentations
◦ Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance.
◦ Experience in implementing compliance policies, programs, procedures, and other process documentation.
◦ Ability to influence colleagues in other departments and functions to achieve consensus on regulatory risk issues and appropriate mitigation.
◦ Experience in developing and delivering effective management reporting.
◦ J.D. preferred.
