Who You'll Work For
Data Center Business Operations Team plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational, and organizational excellence and improvements across the Data Center Business Group (Data Center Networking + Data Center Computing). We work closely with the leadership team to drive strategic planning activities, operations framework and execution excellence to ensure business processes meet the needs and objectives to scale with speed and deliver aggressive growth. Our team is expected and able to challenge the status quo and be part of a team that is passionate about creating a highly performing organization.
Who Are You
This position requires a seasoned business leader with significant relevant experience, a broad and well-rounded set of skills, high level of energy, flexibility, can-do attitude organization savviness, perpetual enthusiasm to partner with senior Cisco business leaders, drive cross-functional initiatives, learn new skills, and take on new responsibilities, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. This position is people, data, and communications intensive; it requires excellent leadership, critical thinking, independence, organizational, data analysis and communication skills.
• Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in a relevant subject. MBA a plus.
• 5+ years in a related position. Minimum 12+ years overall experience preferred.
• Presently operating in a Business Operations leadership role (Director) within a technology company
• Excellent leadership, management, strategic influencing, creative thinking, conflict resolution, and team building skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of management as well as technical contributors
• Ability to translate business objectives into goals and measurements.
• Exceptional operational command of the business, including metrics’ based goals and achievement approach
• Exceptional team player with the ability to quickly develop and foster stakeholder relationships, and strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated track record of leading or working with cross-functional teams
• Able to quickly drive, communicate and gain support for decisions in unstructured environments
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Strong presentation skills and executive presence, with the ability to address and influence both executive and mid-level management audiences. Amazing Powerpoint and Excel modeling skills.
• Strategic approach to problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional analytical skills. Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations. Prior Consulting and/or Finance experience a plus
• The candidate must be a self-starter, independent, and a driver. And is detail oriented, proactive, takes initiative and highly organized; Acts with a sense of urgency.
