DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services is looking for a seasoned product leader to help us define and build the future of computing. In this Director of Product Management role with EC2, you will own and drive technical product management for enterprise workloads and help companies leverage their current technical assets.
Your broad and deep background in outbound technical product management will enable your success in driving the right Go-To-Market strategic elements that play a critical role in this AWS offering. You'll work closely with a diverse, highly intellectual and agile team with a direct line of sight to the impact your work has on Fortune 500 customers. The ideal candidate is excited about the incredible opportunity cloud computing represents, coupled with a passion for building exceptional teams that deliver high quality services. Our environment is thoroughly customer centric, fast paced and places high value on strong technical and business judgment, in addition to outstanding communication skills. This is a high visibility role that will interact with all levels of AWS and Amazon.com leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 15 years of product management and product marketing experience
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with building and leading deeply talented product teams with an emphasis on scaling them to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
• Notable ability to dive deep with content and messaging
• Successful collaboration skills and tools that focus on earning trust with distributed teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Growth hacking/strategy expert to deliver the right results.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products/services in a complex and high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly
• Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, and opinionated team
• Proven experience creating and driving the right mechanisms for success. You have owned and run these elements like a business.
• Experience driving a technical global product and team with end to end inbound and outbound product responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate data driven decisions that lead to results
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics (or equivalent)
• MBA
