Job Duties and Expectations
• You organize and communicate a holistic view of our PFS work and conduct quarterly prioritization reviews, helping facilitate trade-offs across teams and ensure we commit to the highest-priority work supporting our strategic plan.
• You sponsor and promote high levels of collaboration across our eCommerce Platform team and create the linkages across functions such as Enterprise Security & Risk, Global Payments, Data Services, Ordering Services, and others.
• You interact with Principal Engineers, speaking their language and gaining their input and support to our portfolio.
• You host platform-ready demos by our development teams. You create a culture where teams strive for platform-readiness through incremental releases targeting increasing compliance with eCommerce platform requirements.
• You lead specific cross-platform initiatives such as partner test strategy development.
• You mentor and coach product managers and agile coaches in Product and Portfolio Management standard methodologies.
• You collaborate with communications managers and PFS leaders to craft compelling stories about our portfolio and how we accelerate Expedia Group's goals. You help communicate these stories both internal to Expedia Group and externally through social media and conferences.
• You help us build our product team's Objectives and Key Results (OKR) and keep them refreshed on a quarterly basis.
• Your bring customer-centricity to all your work with a specific focus on partner (both internal brands and external customers) experience mapping. You ensure our portfolio is built from a partner journey perspective.
• You cultivate design-thinking across our teams. You make a positive impact with a designer's perspective of our future.
• You cultivate product management community relationships. You attend relevant internal and external network events while you serve as our ambassador - supporting our goals.
• You flex and adapt to evolving priorities and late-breaking requests. Changes in direction do not fluster you. Instead, you create structure and movement despite challenges resulting in even stronger outcomes.
Leadership Aspects
You will join the Product Management team and contribute value to multiple levels of staff, working with product managers, team directors, our vice-president. You have both hard communication skills and soft leadership skills, and know how to blend those together in a collaborative, networked organization environment. You will often represent our Product & Marketing Director in various forums.

Credentials and Foundation Skills
Your education, credentials, and skills should support your success.
• Bachelor's degree. Technical degree preferred.
• Comfortable speaking in technology terms.
• Software development background a big plus.
• MBA a plus.
• Proven experience in technology settings. eCommerce experience preferred.
• Experience in any or all of these areas a plus: continuous delivery, systems monitoring, system testing, system operations, and cloud infrastructure.
