is seeking a Marketing Associate to support professional education marketing in our new Dallaslocation in the heart of the city. As the Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for all localized marketing efforts, including local partnerships and advertising, driving community engagement and cultivating an active, welcoming, and best-in-class community for prospective students.
In this role, you’ll be an important driver of applications for our Dallas programs and work towards strengthening student’s connection to our brand and increasing their likelihood to enroll.

This is a cross-functional role with collaboration across on-site Enrollments and Operations teams in addition to the HQ-based Marketing team.
The Marketing Associate will:
• Manage local marketing funnel
◦ Take ownership over reporting on and tracking local leads, applicants, and enrollments.
◦ Manage and deploy a budget for localized marketing activities to help drive local marketing funnel goals.
◦ Secure partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities locally.
◦ Collaborate with paid-marketing, email, SEO, social media, and product marketing teams at HQ to ensure local marketing is successful.
• Manage all prospective student events and content in Dallas:
◦ Ideate and create a schedule of events for prospective students in Dallas, in collaboration with Enrollments and Education team.
◦ Manage the local our Meetup page.
◦ Take ownership over driving event attendance by collaborating with HQ email and social media teams in addition to creative on-the-ground distribution channels.
◦ Manage the successful execution of event content from ideation to presentation.
◦ Coordinate pre and post-event communications and logistics, including monitoring RSVPs and sending invitations, confirmations, and thank you emails.
◦ Organize sourcing and directing volunteers and volunteer roles for on-campus events.
◦ Work after hours to manage prospective student event run-of-show up to 2x per week
◦ Track and report the effectiveness of events in terms of conversion to student and attendee satisfaction.
• Secure and oversee local partnerships and sponsorships:
◦ Source acquisition and brand focused partnership opportunities amongst existing Dallas-area organizations, companies, and Meetups.
◦ Be responsible for a monthly sponsorship budget as well as lead generation goals.
◦ Drive localized marketing efforts to generate on-the-ground excitement about our brand offerings.
◦ Track and analyze the effectiveness of engagement efforts towards acquisition and conversion on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
A successful Marketing Associate is/has:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience ideally in events, digital, or social media marketing.
• Experience in community management, social media management, or event management (preferred).
• Experience with marketing funnel management.
• Data and goal driven: you constantly tie your work back to what’s making an impact and prioritize ruthlessly.
• A creative thinker: regularly contributing outside-the-box ideas.
• Extremely social: thriving in front of a crowd and interacting with others.
• A doer: highly motivated, organized and scrappy. Able to see ideas through implementation independently.

• A quick learner: From new applications to new concepts, you pick things up quickly and enthusiastically
• A team player passionate about building community, education and/or technology.Ability to work as part of a team and independently – once you’re clear on the task at hand, you are able to own and run with it.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written skills (ad copywriting a plus).
• Worked in a start-up environment and/or you are excited by a fast-paced organization
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects with lots of small moving parts in a fast-paced environment within deadlines.
• Ability to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
