Director, Program Strategy and Operations, Audible for Enterprise
DESCRIPTION

The Audible for Enterprise team delivers B2B solutions to clients across various industries and market segments.
We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Program Strategy and Operations. This role will divide time between strategy (building business plans, analyzing trends, and identifying new growth and expansion opportunities) and operations (connecting the dots within a cross-functional team, breaking down complex activities into attainable project tasks and prioritizing work in an environment with competing demands). The ideal candidate will be a customer-obsessed self-starter and outstanding problem solver who can inspire with a clearly articulated vision as well as think and talk about the bottom line.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess the viability of product market fit, defining the competitive advantage and market landscape for potential new products and/or services
• Develop and implement projects in order to strengthen the growth trajectory of Audible for Enterprise across new business areas
• Anticipate problems, recognize and eliminate barriers
• Define best practices and streamline our internal processes, supporting sales, marketing and product development
• Develop a deep understanding of our users, clients and and products and how they impact our business to inform important decisions.
• Monitor, document, and react to the financial and operational status of Audible for Enterprise
• Help refine critical KPIs and build core operating dashboards, with Business Insights colleagues, to help teams manage performance
• Develop materials in support of internal review sessions to maintain awareness and support with internal and external team members
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years experience in Product Management, Management Consulting, Investment Banking/Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship or related role
• Customer obsessed—demonstrated ability to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Hard working, no matter the task, you do what it takes to deliver
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience gathering and utilizing customer insights
• Ability to solve conceptual problems and create frameworks to refine a team’s thinking as well as get into the weeds to understand how things work.
• Strong communication skills to drive discussions with cross-functional colleagues and senior leadership.
• A team player with a history of building strong, collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams.
• A self-started with an insatiable curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• People Management experience, to manage a small but growing team.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar required. MBA a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Product teams
• Experience in the B2B and B2B2C space
• An understating of revenue models in subscription-based businesses
• Passion for books and / or digital entertainment
