Groupon Goods, the retail arm of our business, is a daily one-stop shop for brand-name essentials and unexpected, one-of-a-kind finds. Working in Goods, you will join a retail-savvy team whose goal is to procure and provide customers with the products they want, when they want them. As a Merchandising Operations Project Coordinator, you will bring consistency and knowledge sharing across Groupon Goods through development and execution of a formal training program.
We are looking for you if you are tech savvy and able to develop a deep understanding of the operational components of ecommerce drop ship businesses and standard methodologies for scaling suppliers on Groupon Goods. You also have the ability to align and hold internal partners accountable, prioritize tasks and project lead across multiple concurrent cross functional projects. You have strong interpersonal skills across all mediums and be willing to dig into details to effectively build these new programs.
What are the responsibilities?
• You will create training guides and resources, including written guides and webinars
• Facilitate training sessions for internal partners
• Document and communicate standard methodologies and FAQ’s
• You will reduce the number of support tickets through analysis and continuous teaching/communicating
• Address internal and external user questions regarding new technology
• You support communication between platform users and engineers
• Assist in handling the support ticketing queue
• Handle the feedback loop from active platform users in order to identify weaknesses
• You will get to work with buying partners to gather and document existing onboarding systems
• Plan and execute continued learning sessions in order for buyers to understand adjacent department functions
• Troubleshoot day to day production issues
We would like you to have:
• 2+ years experience coordinating multi-faceted initiatives in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proficiency in using +Microsoft Office software
• Skilled in personal presentation as well as verbal and written communication
• Basic SQL knowledge (Preferred)
• Highly meticulous attention to detail & strong sense of ownership
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive relationship building and cross-functional inclusion skills
• A dedication to exceptional customer service
• Proficiency with Adobe suite or similar visual design software a plus
