We are searching for a premier technology leader to lead a talented group of engineers/technologists in scaling a technology solution that power our 3rd Party Inventory supplier channel. This is a new business opportunity within the team, your contribution in building out this business will be much appreciated. In addition, you will provide mentorship for the development of Trover, a leading Travel app/website for beautiful user generated content.
The individual will also be a key leader in the Lodging Partner Integration and Experience team, with responsibility to build/maintain some of our most significant supplier partner facing API solutions. Our team love the mission of providing world-class Connectivity solution in connecting our Lodging supplier and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver business results to delight our customer
• Work closely with key partners in executing the product vision for multiple work streams. This includes Product Management, internal/external engineering teams, and other internal functional teams.
• Ensure the team’s success thru translation of Business Requirements into Project Specification. Working with technical staff on Project Design/Development, with end-to-end oversight of on time delivery with high quality.
• Lead ~25 Engineers/Technologists in engineering execution
• Be responsible for the growth of the Engineering team – including individuals’ career growth, skillset development, and hiring the right resources
• Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior members on the team.
• Provide architectural and design input, with ability to dive deep into technical details if necessary.
• Provide mentorship on Engineering excellence with a lens on Continuous Improvement, Agile process excellence, and deployment of newest technology as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong technical management background
• 12+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years in leading engineering teams with growing responsibility.
• Ability to navigate a rapidly changing landscape, while handling multiple responsibilities.
• Well versed in Agile development methodology, and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Development in AWS or other Cloud environment very helpful.
• Curious on new technology, always looking to acquire new knowledge.
• Strong written and spoken communication
• Strong Business sense is desired
