• Work with the HQ Accounting Manager to lead development and implementation of global accounting processes
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of accounting and a thorough knowledge of regional variances to tailor global processes to meet specific local requirements
• Develop and deliver regionally modified training materials and lead training sessions with adherence to HQ driven system and process updates
• Collaborate with counterpart in region to roll out global processes, while providing input on regional nuances
• Coordinate with regional accounting teams: review and manage monthly close deliverables
• Identify opportunities for process improvement: build global playbook and establish regional desktop procedures and templates
• Serve as a point of contact for key stakeholders within the Finance department
Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years progressive work experience
• CPA preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Has competent knowledge of US GAAP
• Detail oriented and self-sufficient
• Frequent international travel required
