The Director of PMO/Product Development, Analytics, is accountable for productizing analytical solutions that enhance our business partner’s ability to mine insights “just in time” in order to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, customer engagement, and commercial performance. In addition, this individual will be responsible for establishing and leading the PMO for the global analytics organization including performance against schedule, scope, and budget. This is a key role in the analytics organization at GoDaddy and will be a part of the leadership team of the Chief Analytics Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly passionate, imaginative, creative, self-driven, analytical and driven strategic leader.
In this role you will be responsible for partnering with other leaders in analytics, Global Market Operations, Product Development,
Customer Experience, and the technology organization to identify critical opportunities, capability gaps, and insights “blind spots” to develop new analytical products that create strategic advantage for GoDaddy. As the owner of the analytics organization’s PMO, you will work directly with the Chief Analytics Officer to ensure the commitments of the organization are being well managed and delivering the intended outcomes for their stakeholders. The first key product deliverable for this individual will be the company’s Data Governance program, corporate lexicon, and real time publishing of the company’s performance metrics.
Responsibilities
• Take on ambiguous problems and, by applying agile methods, develop prototypes, MVPs, and production solutions that address those problems
• Synthesize information from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems critical to the business’ future strategy and growth.
• Collaborate with GoDaddy leadership by preparing polished presentations, roadmaps, and wireframes to identify the best opportunities to pursue.
• Build and lead cross function, multi-disciplined, strike teams to take prototypes, wireframes, MVPs from concept to production
• Oversee those teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure incremental delivery of new capabilities while progressing towards the desired end product
• Develop reusable patterns that can be leveraged by GoDaddy analytics teams that reduce their time to market to deliver on ad-hoc requests (product analysis, customer analysis, dashboards, marketing mix, performance marketing effectiveness, etc.)
• Develop, maintain, and report GoDaddy wide metrics and dashboards to ensure a consistent and trusted view of business performance by business segmentation
Requirements
• Advanced degree in applied sciences, business, product development, or technology discipline or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in an advanced analytical organization, preferably in a business/stakeholder facing role
• Experience developing, socializing, and implementing a data governance program for a global company
• Experience building and operationalizing a PMO for a complex, global organization
• Hands-on technical and/or product experience with conceptualizing large scale analytical solutions
• A deep and broad understanding of core and emerging analytics methods, architectures, and approaches and how they can be deployed to drive value within and across stakeholder organizations
