WeWork is looking for a Revenue Manager is expected to lead the team and take high-level responsibilities, to advise when problems arise, and to coordinate with multiple other teams and teammates to ensure items are addressed in a timely manner.
Currently, the Revenue team works cross-functionality with multiple teams across WeWork and Manger is expected to be a true We team player.
The ideal candidate has attention to detail in addition to the experience and knowledge of GAAP and new compliance metrics. The position is highly cross-functional so someone with good intrapersonal skills is highly recommended.
Job Functions:
• Perform reviews and approvals over reconciliations of the revenue accounts, and associated balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of applicable ledger accounts through the following:
◦ Manage month-end close procedures and preparation of financial statement items timely
◦ Perform monthly analytics on revenue and asset accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Supervise a team of various levels
• Perform tasks in a cross-functional level across multiple teams
◦ Advise the billing teams on proper allocations for accounting purposes to ensure proper recording of income
◦ Work as intermediary for FP&A, CFO, CAO, and other teams to understand the GL for revenue
• Advise with creations of new processes when arise while maintaining proper controls
• Other assorted duties as arise
Job Requirements:
• 6+ years experience in public and/or private accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Candidate must have strong MS Office experience
• Working knowledge of WorkDay is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in ASC606 plus
• Highly organized, team player, task oriented, efficient in completing various tasks in overlapping deadlines, hands-on with problem solving skills
• High acumen to detail and accuracy of data and information
• Strong leadership skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and co-workers globally
