About the team
Zillow is on a mission to improve people’s lives through the places we call home. To deliver on this mission, we are looking for a seasoned product marketing professional to define the Product Marketing function at Zillow, build an elite team, and ensure we deliver on the promises we make to consumers as a brand.
About the role
This is a high visibility role that will directly impact both the business and Zillow’s development as a brand. You – and the team you build – will be responsible for:
Identifying what is most needed and most compelling to consumers – and feeding that insight back into the organization to influence product strategy, prioritization, marketing investment and related messaging.
Leading the cross-functional development and execution of go-to-market strategies and plans designed to drive desired product critical metrics (e.g., awareness, consideration, trial and adoption).
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on product marketing program performance and making recommendations to improve both the product offering itself, and related marketing and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Crystalize the Product Marketing function at Zillow including SOW, engagement model, and the people, processes and resources needed to deliver. Evangelize across the organization to increase awareness, partnership and adoption.
• Recruit, nurture and retain a best-in-class team of product marketers.
• Partner with Brand Management to extend the Zillow brand narrative, defining the products, features and RTBs needed to support.
• Partner with Consumer Insights to identify and socialize key consumer needs and unmet product opportunities.
• Use data and related insights to influence product strategy and prioritization.
• Define the value proposition and related messaging for prioritized products. Own “the brief.”
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development of go-to-market strategies and plans designed to drive desired product KPIs. Work with marketing channel owners (performance, email, brand media) to figure out appropriate investment levels, and develop and execute tactical plans.
• Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits.

• Experience (10+ years) in product or brand management – preferably with a consumer technology company/brand
• Success launching and scaling mass-market consumer products or services that both drive the business and strengthen the brand.
• Proven ability to lead a high-performing team in a cross-matrixed environment.
• Strong analytic skills and the ability to drive data-driven recommendations and decision making.
• Experience creating integrated marketing plans to support product launch and expansion efforts.
• Experience working with marketing channel owners to shape marketing strategy and drive tactical execution.
• Executive level communication skills.
• Ability to confidently analyze business results and report performance to executive leadership and cross functional teams.
• Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion; balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs and meet deadlines.
• MBA preferred.
• Must love this stuff.
