DESCRIPTION
The Director, Executive Recruiting will report directly to the VP of Global Talent Acquisition and will own the executive recruiting function and processes. This role will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team. This individual will be responsible for the design, development and stand –up of a creative and comprehensive executive recruiting function for Audible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive executive search strategies globally
• Oversees and plays the full lifecycle lead for a global, compact portfolio of executive recruiting roles for Vice President level and above from initial briefings and market mapping to interviews and offers across Audible
• The individual will be proactive in ensuring that Audible is in a position to have a pipeline of the most talented external executive leaders for open roles and succession plans
• Build and implement an exceptional customer centric experience to all internal stakeholders and design a signature candidate experience for executive level candidates
• He/she will be able to consult with senior executives through status meetings, providing market feedback and insight to candidates’ strengths, motivations, and development needs
• The individual will lead the search strategy on multiple executive searches, drawing on project management ability, proactive pipeline development, and strong service delivery
• He/she will excel in developing deep and insightful candidate briefings of top talent across the market, among competitors, and when necessary within Audible’s internal executive talent pool
• Partners closely with compensation to develop an in-depth understanding of the compensation programs and ensures effective communication to executive level candidates regarding Audible’s unique compensation attraction tools
• Create market mapping and research plans for all searches, maintain a pipeline of top executive talent for Audible’s in anticipation of future needs
• Stays current with regard to organizational changes (acquisitions, reorganizations, new product offerings) as well as industry and technical trends that may impact hiring strategies and needs
• Stay abreast of external/industry trends
• Develops key partnerships with a limited number of external search partners utilizing them strategically when necessary, but also ensuring global guidelines are in place for contracts
• Promoting/Networking/Partnering with external peers as well as internal stakeholders to develop required talent pools
• Implements strategies to create pipelines of proactively sourced profiles and establish relationships to turn prospects into future candidates. Manage pipeline activities
• Seek out and lead industry and market specific activities or trends, proactively update the business and provide recommendations on proposed actions.
• Develops and implements creative ideas for improving the executive search process and outcomes focused on continuous improvement
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 15 years of TA experience with a minimum of 5 years of both general management roles and managing full life-cycle executive recruitment process within either an executive recruiting agency setting and/or a complex, international organization.
• Prior experience creating professional client relationships with and working with C-level leadership.
• Project Management experience (recruiting related); proven experience in recruiting key leadership positions
• Must possess strong talent acquisition and business acumen, able to quickly learn the business and make talent decisions
• Demonstrated proficiency with candidate tracking systems, recruiting software and candidate databases
• Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
• High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information is essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; executive presence and credibility
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution

• Workday and iCIMS experience
