Audible - an Amazon company and perpetual innovator – is looking for a results-oriented Media Operations Director in its Marketing team. As a member of the Audible Marketing organization, you have the opportunity to shape a best-in-class marketing tool ecosystem which enables current use cases and unlocks future opportunities. These tools help us drive our innovative customer-focused programs to capture successful customer acquisition and subsequently strong business metrics of trial to member conversion. This role leads the operational aspects of Audible’s Marketing and Paid Media organization therefore it requires a strong candidate that can drive the tool vision, but also get in the weeds and speak “tech.” With that, it includes acting as the subject matter expert for the engagement, on-boarding and integration of all existing and new media optimization tools; partnering with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis; and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of advanced advertising and new media product deployments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Marketing tool vision and operational guidance to teams within Audible, such as Marketing, Product, Technology and Legal as it pertains to Audible’s marketing efforts.
• Partner with internal SMEs on the implementation of marketing tools and systems integrations with working with cross-functional leaders in product, technology and data strategy.
• Manage the operational aspects of existing media products, 3rd party and 1st party tools.
• Develop and communicate operational insights on emerging new digital technologies within the industry.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on an on-going basis in order to build effective relationships.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field of study
• 5+ years in a manager business operations role, within the media or technology industry (focus on digital media is ideal)
• Ability to think and plan strategically with a business focus, while taking account of technical and operational constraints.
• Strong analytical skills (spreadsheet mastery a must, database experience is a bonus)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong understanding and experience with critical Marketing Optimization products and tools, including:
• Site Analytics & A/B Testing – i.e. Adobe Analytics & Target
• DSPs, 3rd party data, ad serving, real-time bidding, and ad exchanges
• Data Management Platform – i.e. Adobe Audience Manager
• Attribution tools – I.e. Kochava, Convertro
• Experience and knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or graduate degree
• Proactive and solutions oriented
• Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
• Established track record of creativity and innovation
