ANALYST - BUSINESS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION (EMEA)
New York
About the role:
The Business Process Optimization Analyst is responsible for defining and implementing Shared Services globally. This role will be a bridge between WeWork’s global headquarters and the EMEA regional teams to understand the pain points that are preventing the buildings from operating efficiently while reinforcing corporate policies to maintain standards and reduce audit risk. BPO Analysts should also drive resolution options by working cross-functionally with all departments at HQ and other Shared Services teams.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with designing, optimizing, and implementing global business processes related to Shared Services
• Develop comprehensive understanding of all Shared Services global processes and a thorough knowledge of regional variances to amend global processes to meet EMEA specific requirements
• Work collaboratively with HQ subject matter experts to improve Shared Services processes with account for regional variances
• Be part of the regional team for EMEA key stakeholders within Community and Operations regarding Shared Services processes
• Participate in meetings for EMEA key stakeholders to determine regional priorities, discuss business needs, and identify and escalate issues
• Work with regional EMEA stakeholders and global business process leads to assist with defining, developing, and reviewing metrics to ensure SOX policy and procedure compliance. Determine process breakdowns, identify training needs, and drive resolution options
• Collaborate with LATAM, APAC, and North America & Canada teams within business process to discuss differences in regional process and procedure, determine similarities across all regions, and establish a global priority listing
• Maintain regionally modified training materials and lead regional training sessions specific to each country with adherence to HQ driven system and process updates
• Assist with defining and implementing Shared Services processes and tools into new markets prior to the opening to ensure smooth transition
• Liaise with Program Management team and Finance Systems team to identify and define system modifications to address ongoing issues
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 2-5 years of business consulting or finance support functions
• Demonstrates an ability to manage both internal users and external customers
• Experience or interest in end-to-end process establishment and improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions
• Highly self motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify key drivers and trends
• Well organized
• Desire to succeed in a data-driven, fast changing, and entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
