The Senior Manager, Learning & Development will be a member of the Global Learning & Development team. This proven leader will will make a big impact on all Britelings around the world by owning the design and launch of a robust, immersive onboarding experience. Additionally, the Sr. Manager, L&D will build out “Careers@Eventbrite”, enabling all Britelings to maximize their potential. Other responsibilities will include facilitating live development sessions with the Director + population and taking a consultative role in organizational effectiveness engagements.
THE ROLE
• Work with a cross functional team to develop and promote career development at Eventbrite.
• Own the design and global rollout of an immersive, 90 day onboarding experience.
• Execute the leadership development strategy through a blend of in-person workshops, online seminars, elearning, performance support tools, assessments, and other approaches and resources.
• Source, propose and manage external courses and resources that fit the curriculum and company culture.
• Help to develop and deliver a coaching strategy and approach to support our global growth.
• Develop and implement select high potential talent programs to support our internal talent pipeline work.
• Provide thought leadership to Eventbrite executives on Learning & Development strategies.
• Ensure learning strategies are effective by evaluating results and implementing course corrections; keep stakeholders informed of results and progress.
• Research, evaluate, and leverage best practices of other organizations to expand the quality and accessibility of leadership development to target audiences.
THE SKILL SET
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational development, instructional design, professional development or equivalent experience.
• Passion for getting stuff done. Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, result-driven, time-critical, rapidly changing environment with minimal daily oversight.
• Able to work both on a team and independently to deliver results.
• Experience with different coaching models.
• Demonstrated success in the design, development and delivery of innovative programs and products.
• Proven track record of operationalizing, scaling and executing programs globally.
• Excellent communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and external partners.
• Experience working with outside vendors in crafting company-appropriate leadership development experiences
• Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks / projects with minimal supervision.
• Certification in leadership assessments (for example, Myers-Briggs, DiSC, SDI) and development programs (Situational Leadership) a plus.
• Ability to travel, including internationally.
