Job Purpose: Oversee the management, sales, and strategy of private event bookings at Dock 72.
Key Responsibilities: Promote and manage private event rentals.
• Build and implement event strategy and processes for event booking.
• Maintain and update internal operating systems.
• Maintain brand identity throughout programming and coordination
• Evaluate post-event return on investment based on budget, resources, and lead
generation.
General Duties:
• Evaluate and liaise external inquiries for private events.
• Coordinate, execute, and staff private events.
• Manage relationships and execute contracts for private event bookings.
• Liaise closely with the operations team to ensure all booking details are accurately
communicated to meet client expectations.
• Promote, manage, and close sales of private event spaces.
• Create and develop promotional pages and supporting materials for events as needed.
• Coordinate, market, and execute special events.
• Establish and foster new relationships that drive desks sales and increase brand
awareness for the properties.
• Manage event staff and direct reports.
• Assist with quality control checks of all event space.
• Generate revenue to hit monthly sales goals.
• Complete and distribute departmental and personal performance reports.
• Attend any meetings or training sessions or courses as required.
• Manage relationship with key property stakeholders.
• Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary.
• Continuously seek out opportunities to learn and improve the knowledge of the job.
• Undertake any reasonable request made by a member of management.
• Achieve set Key Performance Objectives and Indicators and complete all other duties, tasks, and projects as required by the Team.
• Effectively use the in-house system to manage the booking procedure for small and
medium-sized Groups and Events ensuring processes and actions are followed in-line with company standards.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of event sales experience with a background in both large-scale, social and corporate events.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale event productions.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• Pre-established relationships with event clients and vendors.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Hospitable demeanor.
• Self-starter and a fast learner.
