Director, AppExchange Strategy

The AppExchange Strategy role will define, lead, and execute a strategy on how to analyze, operate, and grow the business intelligently as we race to 10K solutions and 10M installs. This role is critical to helping define the future of the AppExchange. This role is responsible for analyzing market, industry, and technology trends as well as operational and sales trends to incorporate them into a comprehensive growth strategy. This role owns the definition of the KPIs for the business. He/She will be an expert on our sales and operational processes. He/She will be an expert on our internal systems that power the business. This role will interact with various areas of the company including Sales, Operations, Product, Product Strategy, and Finance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record analyzing data and driving business strategy. Ideally, this person will have a financial and strategy background in previous roles and/or acted in a similar capacity, and will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
• Define KPIs for the AppExchange business.
• Develop and present business proposals to executive leadership to help define the AppExchange vision and business strategy.
• Become an expert on how the business operates including sales and operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Use Salesforce reports, dashboards, and Einstein Analytics to analyze the data.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Desired Skills/Experience:
• 12+ years work experience focused on business strategy and quantitative analysis.
• Proven experience in driving strategy and business transformations.
• Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, and understands business imperatives.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; including the ability to conduct executive level presentations.
• Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions.
• Strong experience using Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand.
• Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment.
• Work experience in consulting or finance is a plus.
• Bachelors Degree preferably in an analytical discipline such as computer science, economics, etc.
