Now, we’re looking for a talented Product Marketing Leader for our Renewals Business to help tell our story.
The Product Marketing Leader for Renewals is responsible for the overall design and delivery of the Global Renewals Marketing Plan and the design of and coordination of delivery for enablement of both the internal and external teams. The person in this position will engage closely with the rest of the Renewals Team, the Central Marketing & Enablement Organizations and Channel Sales to execute programs and campaigns and support the in-market execution of global and regional media, campaigns and programs to drive renewals. The position is based in Mountain View or San Francisco, California.
This position provides an opportunity to work with the executive team to establish the overall multi-year strategy for the entire renewals business. The team will need to maintain an excellent understanding of customer needs, market requirements, and technology trends. The team will also manage and drive the defined strategy across the functional organizations to achieve marketing objectives.
The Renewals Marketing team is responsible for developing marketing strategy, messaging, promotions and programs that help drive Veritas NetBackup and Enterprise Data Protection initiatives, including supporting joint marketing activities with key partners. Additionally, the team helps position Veritas solutions overall to SMB customers and partners by tailoring messages for a variety of use cases. The output from the team also informs brand strategy and awareness campaigns, demand generation campaigns, and a plethora of other go-to-market activities.
The ideal candidate will be a technology enthusiast with extensive leadership experience and with the ability to up-level technical concepts into simple stories that clearly articulate business value for customers, with experience in the IT infrastructure space. They will be able to work cross functionally to direct a team of product marketing managers to generate market-ready collateral assets to drive the renewals business
This person will be someone who approaches marketing with a data-driven mindset and a strong research acumen, and ability to drive and show results. Strong written /verbal communications skills are a must. Strong marketing management skills with the ability to own/drive projects to close are also expected. Previous experience in marketing subscription, enterprise software as well as strong technical background is preferred. Experience with data protection products is a plus.
