Expedia's Capital Markets team is responsible for managing cash and investments in over 50 currencies across multiple corporate entities. In addition, the team handles foreign currency exposures resulting from over $88 billion of yearly transactions in over 75 countries. The team works closely with tax, accounting, and legal to ensure liquidity and funding for the global business entities.
Responsibilities:
You will play a meaningful role within Expedia’s Global Finance department by supporting key functions, including, but not limited to:
• Developing/enhancing global cash forecasting to support executive decision-making for investments, share repurchases, capital allocation, and debt and liquidity levels
• Leading the development, design, and implementation of plans to optimize working capital, and gain efficiencies to drive cash flow improvements
• Preparing presentations and reports for executive management and Board related to various aspects of capital markets, including cash flow, leverage, and share repurchases
• Leading requirements and compliance under debt facilities
• Assisting with M&A and other strategic projects/transactions and related financing structures
• Supporting bond offering execution and creating/updating debt investor and rating agency presentations
• Liaising among our banking partners and internal and external groups such as accounting, integration, legal counsel, and advisors
• Playing a key role in developing and executing share repurchase programs
• Supporting other treasury and finance projects as needed
Competencies:
You will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. In addition, you will exhibit the ability to be articulate, reliable, organized teammate while working independently and a drive to exceed expectations. You will convey good communication and project management skills as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
You will have a minimum 10+ years of related experience with previous treasury and/or forecasting experience for a Fortune 500 company a plus. In addition, a CPA and/or CFA is strongly preferred.
