We’re looking for a talented Event Manager to join the team responsible for producing the Creator Awards global event series. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project lead with technical proficiency in all areas of production inclusive of the planning and execution of live events.
The right candidate will need to have a solid background within the live event sector including pre- production, administration and on site management of complex conference/arts/performance/activity/music events. They will work in a fast-paced, global organization and will prioritize building and cultivating stakeholder relationships, internally and externally.

Responsibilities
• Develop, produce and manage large-scale global Creator events from beginning to end, each aligned with the campaign strategy(ies), priorities and goals.
• Research and development of strategic and innovative concepts, experiences, activations, partnerships and content.
• Current knowledge of industry landscape and trends: category/brand activations, events, hospitality, entertainment and technologies.
• Build, grow and manage a team of skilled event specialists, including trusted local, national and international partner and vendors.
• Lead the management, coordination, communication and execution for internal team(s), partners and vendors during pre-production and activation phases of each global event.
• Liaise and coordinate with Creator + WW departments; develop, manage, streamline and implement project plans, timelines and deliverables associated with assigned projects/events.
• Active and ongoing assessment/evaluation of key learnings and best practices; development, management and implementation of processes, project management tools and materials.
• Extensive budget development, management and tracking for six and seven figure budgets.
• Advance market research, planning, budgeting, scouting and presentation for future Creator Award series events.
• Establishment and reinforcement of clear, consistent and open communication for event/ Creator team; manage weekly status / team meetings as required.
• Attend (and run, where applicable) company, team, partner, production and campaign meetings as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5+ years of relevant live event production and management experience in a medium to high growth company.
• Proven event production expertise with an emphasis on the technical and experiential aspects of event production.
• Proven ability to successfully develop and manage multi-channel, complex events for a variety of clients/audiences/cultures at an exceptionally high standard.
• Skilled strategic thinker with ability to develop and propose concepts, activations and plans/processes designed to achieve campaign KPIs/goals/metrics.
• Strong leadership, project management and prioritization skills; management of multiple and simultaneous projects, team members and events in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and proactive; ability to anticipate and adjust to frequent changes in pace and priority(ies), maintaining a level headed approach to team/project management, decision making and communication.
• Routinely accustomed to working with and on behalf of high profile personnel (internal and external) i.e.: WW C-suite, investors, government officials, talent (judges, performers, hosts) etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, solutions and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Exceptional design sensibility and ability to provide clear and concise creative direction.
• Strong bidding and vendor/partner negotiation skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed; support event setup/strike as needed.
• Demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability, integrity, maturity, dependability and empathy.
