Position Summary
The Director, Brand Marketing will report to the SVP, Brand Marketing. The qualified candidate will own and deliver strategies and plans to drive the growth and profitability of the brand, deliver consistent market share expansion, and strengthen brand equity, inclusive of:
• The development of brand marketing strategy
• The development and delivery of annual operating plan and P&L goals
• Creation of marketing plans and budgets that drive share and deliver financial objectives
• Ownership of multiple advertising campaigns
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning & Execution
• Build strategy to grow the brand as part of annual strategic plan process
• Develop and deliver annual operating plan and P&L aligned with business objectives
• Develop and execute annual plans for innovation, promotion, marketing investment
• Lead analysis and reporting of monthly performance ( P&L, retail consumption)
• Create multiple IMC campaigns, including objective, concept and execution tactics to strengthen Web.com's brand identity.
• Create internal programs that drive brand strength and consistency through all departments
• Establish key performance indicators and conduct quantitative analysis to turn insights into actionable programs.
Marketing Management
• Develop insights from analysis of market data, competitor intelligence, consumer research, and customer data
• Develop communications strategy, including development of content and marketing mix
• Develop brand promotions and enable cross-brand promotional opportunities; recommend promotional calendar and merchandising programs
• Select and serve as liaison with outside agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns.
• Manage and execute brand-initiated product changes.
• Source and secure marketing partnerships and event opportunities that are relevant and inspirational to Web.com customers.
• Work with Analytics to conduct and distribute regular post campaign reviews on all projects.
People / Organizational Leadership
• Create professional development plans
• Ensure clarity of responsibility and facilitate accountability for team activities.
• Provide step-up opportunities to develop members of team
• Support development of company culture and optimize ways of working
• Provide functional expertise and leadership for brand management
• Build, lead and collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to execute programs and cross-channel efforts. Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing and Communication teams through ideation, execution and launch
• Lead the management of agency and external vendor relationships.
Qualifications
• Education: MBA preferred, bachelor's degree require
• 7+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or brand management for consumer brands with a proven ability to develop effective and engaging advertising and integrated marketing programs.
• Strong management and leadership experience with the ability to lead a team and drive multiple cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex projects and assess a variety of opportunities.
• Exceptional project leadership skills with strong attention to detail and an eye for design.
• Must be a passionate and motivated self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced and high growth company.
