An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Finance team within Expedia Partner Services. This is a key role reporting into the Sr. Director of Finance. As a senior member of the Finance group, this role holder will lead the Commercial Finance team. To succeed in this role, you should be influential and dynamic, with the ability to add significant value to the business. You should also have significant experience working in a large B2B organisation running commercial finance teams.
• Support key partner negotiations, including new accounts and renegotiations, through performance/opportunity assessment, contractual terms modeling, scenario planning and mid-term performance reviews
• Drive the dissemination of commercial finance knowledge across the business to improve business insight and drive better decision-making
• Partner strategy - assist in the setting of long, medium and short-term initiatives, working with key partners to identify deliverables. Develop tools for/lead performance measurements against goals
• Assess new business opportunities – including market entry/exit decisions – investigate, research, model and present findings recommending the best course of action
• Leading a team of 6 you will provide direction and mentorship, developing your team be effective partners to our stakeholders
• Your key partners will be the Sales and Finance leadership team.
• Forecasting: lead delivery of partner level forecast, including assessing any key areas of under or over performance and of risks and opportunities, feeding into the FP&A process
• Annual plan: oversee partner view (both strategic and detail), work with Sales leaders to deliver both macro Sales perspectives and affiliate level input. Contribute effectively to FP&A process to ensure key plan deliverables are met
• Deliver high class reporting: Work with key partners in finance, business intelligence and sales to ensure information is relevant, timely, reliable and interpreted for the needs of the Sales leaders, Account Managers and Business Development Managers
• Pull insights from reporting and ensure they are effectively disseminated and acted upon where appropriate. Push where necessary for further investigation and interpretation
• Input into and drive the development of reporting and enhance business processes
• Drive your team to deliver standard reporting in order to provide the appropriate insight to enable positive decision-making for each region, and to deliver on its EBITDA goals

Personal profile:
• Currently leading a finance team and can demonstrate strong a strong history of leadership
• Skilled at building, delivering and interpreting risk and strategy
• Familiar with B2B business models and large, multi-currency accounts receivable functions
• Experience leading large change projects, implementation of system and process improvement
• Experience working in Treasury, especially the development of a credit offering and collateral, LOC’s, guarantees, etc.
• Experienced in and enthusiastic about working in dynamic, ambitious environments
• Thrives in large, global, dynamic organisations
• Skilled people leader, passionate about developing talent
• Technology/travel tech experience preferred
• Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
