Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of billing and payment issues, including the credit card overcharge process. This position will work with multiple business partners to evaluate billing issues and potential overcharges. This entails handling incoming vendor calls, escalation of calls, the monitoring and processing of company merchant invoices and various other day to day operational functions.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for communicating directly with hotel vendors and credit card issuer on recovery of credit card overcharges
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Gather information, monitor credit card rebuttals and communicate with external customers to resolve issues
• Document account notes clearly and efficiently
• Meet internal and external deadlines for billing issue resolution
• Ad hoc duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in finance or accounting operations
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Excel
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Critical thinking and creative problem solving
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• A solid comprehension of related industry practices and company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate effective research skills
