The Compensation Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing sales team. We are looking for an experienced and hardworking candidate with exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills. This role will partner with Sales, Commissions and GTM Operations to develop and drive the strategic vision of Box’s sales organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead all efforts related to sales compensation crediting and determine strategies that are executable prior to compensation plan designs being delivered for executive committee approval
• Ensure all compensation crediting strategies are executable in the system during compensation plan launch period at start of fiscal year
• Document policies and crediting documents reflecting crediting structure
• Process all personnel change requests in SFDC
• Collaborate with commissions, GTM operations and sales to ensure accurate crediting
• Actively and efficiently address adherence to policies and processes by sales team
• Educate sales on any crediting changes mid-year or after annual planning process
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of finance and/or operational experience; experience with commissions a plus
• Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com; Experience with commissions systems (e.g., Xactly) a plus
• Understanding of SaaS business model and Enterprise Sales organizations
• High attention to detail and accountable
• Interest in working at a high-growth, performance focused environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills with experience working with and presenting to senior management
• Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance or Business or Bachelors degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics) from a top academic institution
