Salesforce.com Program Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Program Manager to join our Salesforce.com team at Groupon. This position will work within an established global program to consult and deliver successful outcomes to our numerous stakeholders. Stakeholders consist of operational leaders within our lines of business, back office (including compliance initiatives), and our numerous integration partners.
Specific duties include:
• Working with stakeholders to optimize functional requirements and deliver those to our Salesforce.com engineering team in a disciplined and consistent manner.
• Manage projects from prioritization of the initiative to successful delivery in production.
• Having a clear and detailed knowledge of our program so as to represent it clearly to our stakeholders.
• Acting as a project executive in collaboration with team members responsible for delivering the technical solution, ensuring ‘as expected’ production releases for our stakeholders.
• Relationship building, clear communication and personal organization/discipline will separate average from great in this role (as with many others).
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of CRM as a concept and experience in solving problems within its context. They will be able to work with stakeholders to understand their business goals and challenges and set the foundation for their continued improvement and success. This position requires the ability to work independently and quickly while also delivering in high-quality. An SFDC Program Manager will have numerous simultaneous projects, so strong organizational skills are critical to success within the role. Groupon is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and our ideal candidate will feel right at home there.
Qualifications
• 3- 5+ years of program/product development experience in consumer-focused companies
• A proven track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
• Ability to use written and verbal communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, and to a variety of audiences
• Must be able to think creatively and manage changing priorities
• Must be a problem solver and remove blockers where possible
• Must have bias for action, and have experience with execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
