Director, Product - Health, Beauty & Wellness

This role is both technical and business facing and the successful candidate should be analytical, creative and comfortable writing driving strategy, leading meetings, and developing a team of product managers. This role will be focused on driving growth in one of our top local verticals - Health, Beauty & Wellness. As the Director of Product, you will report directly to the General Manager and will be charged with leading a team of product managers to develop the product strategy and roadmap, get buy-in from senior leadership, and work across design and engineering to create features to support the strategy. In addition, you will lead the broader business team to bring these features to market.
Responsibilities:
• Define the product strategy and develop the product roadmap for the Health, Beauty & Wellness business.
• Build business cases, articulate the product strategy, and get buy-in from senior leadership.
• Define robust product requirements and clearly communicate them to design and engineering teams. Through agile development process, bring features to market, test, measure, iterate, advance.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, sales and operations to execute the go to market strategy for new features.
• Lead and develop a product team that is focused on developing features that improve the customer experience and grow the business.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Product Management experience in technology organizations.
• 3+ years managing and developing product management teams
• Excellent customer empathy & CX intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features.
• Demonstrated skills in developing product roadmaps and functional specifications, launching new products, conducting customer research, and informing user testing.
• Experience influencing and creating a culture with Engineers and UX designers to solve core customer needs.
• Experience owning development of a product and working cross-functionally with UX design and software development teams to manage the day to day tactics.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity projects.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills with the ability to successfully interact and influence across functions at all levels of an organization and with customers.
• Demonstrated track record of strong written and verbal communication to gain buy-in for product vision and crisply communicate product status updates.
