Position Summary
The Director of Program Management will need to work symbiotically across all business departments.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for establishing the PMO organization as a center of excellence.
• Define the program management process, standards, deliverables and operational cadence.
• Define the approach to Continuous Improvement in the company including tools for portfolio system, program KPIs, operating rhythms and review cycles.
• Regularly tracks progress on all cross functional programs plans and provide updates to executives.
• Assess actual performance against the program plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and issues.
• Manage project scope and deliverables through a structured change management process to ensure customer expectations are met, while protecting revenue objectives.
• Champion the development and implementation of a problem solving continuous improvement methodology. Ensure consistency.
• Oversight on key company operating rhythms, including in-take, prioritization & approvals of top cross company program priorities.
• Executive portfolio and program status/health dashboards, reporting and program backlog.
• Develop appropriate resource capacity planning, analysis and forecasting.
• Define issue and risk management practices.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
• Work with executive team to identify areas requiring improvement.
Qualifications
• 8+ Years of Program Management Consulting Experience
• Background in a technology company or digital marketing required. Management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree
• High degree of analytical skills and experience with associated tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills " Able to make presentations to large groups at the highest organizational level
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, coach, and counsel others.
• Possess strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse set of personalities.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.
• Ability to influence and direct multiple activities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience: Proven track record in contributing to and leading cross functional programs to successful outcomes that compel constituents to act.
• Minimum of 8 years in the consulting or corporate environment.
