Purpose Of The Job
Responsible for developing and delivering training content and mentoring the Account Executives in the first 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Develop training content. The candidate would work with sales leadership to identify training focus areas and create the content via PowerPoint.
• Deliver Training (new hire/current hires) Once sales leadership decides on the training materials to focus on the trainer would schedule and deploy the training material to the Account Executives (AE).
• Advise Manufacturer teams. Trainer would work with our manufacturer partners, both internal and external to ensure the training they are proposing meets the B2B standards. Add input on what we are really looking for the manufacturer to train our teams on.
• Actively coaching AE’s (new hire/manager choice AE’s) Trainer would sit with account executives and listen to their calls and provide live feedback on improvement areas. Work one on one with selected AE’s to help them improve their sales skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
• High School Diploma
• Bachelors in Business administration or 4 yrs of sales/training experience
• 6 or more years in training for sales and or technology
• Commitment to developing others and helping them to succeed
• Knowledge of outbound technology sales training.
• Direct Market Reseller channel sales and training experience preferred
• Ability to create content and be able to teach and train agents how to sell via outbound phone calls
• Vast knowledge of the channel and b2b sales.
• Need to be able to have above average verbal and writing skills
• Example setter (dependable, punctual, etc.)
• Organizational skills
• Being able to motivate and coach agents
• PowerPoint expertise
• Being able to think outside the box and use innovative ideas to improve the training process and/or curriculum
Essential Mental and Physical Functions
Mental Functions:
Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines.
Physical Functions:
Sitting required 50% of the time. Walking and standing required 50% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.
Equipment Used
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
Work Environment
Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
