Senior Analyst - Payment Operations

Join one of the fastest growing teams in Expedia, we are offering you the opportunity to work closely with the Expedia Group - Global Payments. The Senior Payments Analyst will report to Manager of Global Payment Operations.
In this position you will:
• Drive the day-to-day research of payments activity
• Investigate and resolve payments issues by collaborating with third party payment providers, internal partners and Consumer Payments – Technology team
• Define key requirements for new payment projects, payment reconciliation, success metrics and operational monitoring tools
• Document and implement payment standards and process updates
• Improve the process of payment performance by:
Prioritizing, investigating and resolving payments issues in collaboration with cross functional partners and third party payment providers, communicating impact and end results to management.
Translating operational gaps into system and process requirements. Defining, prioritizing and implementing these requirements with Product Management, Technology, Call Center leadership and Checkout teams.
Qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills that will allow good reporting and understanding of problems
• An excellent problem solver, ability to quickly get to the root and common patterns of problems
• Ability to communicate effectively at a high level to various internal and external customers/partners
• Extraordinary written and verbal communications skills with attention to detail
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with payments processing or payments operations
• 3+ years of Experience with large to medium size online merchants preferred
• Basic SQL programming preferred
• Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup)
• Experience preferred in data visualization/reporting using Tableau
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
