DESCRIPTION
Elemental Technologies, an Amazon Web Services Company, is the leader in software-defined video solutions and we are looking for a Field Operations Manager to drive revenue growth for AWS Elemental with responsibility for identifying and cultivating Media and Entertainment, Broadcast, and Service Provider opportunities along with all associated sales activities within the Eastern Region. Experience with selling experience into NBCU, HBO, and MLB properties is preferred.
What you’ll do:
• Identify best customer targets for volume purchases within the region
• Establish relationships with key customers, recognize the decision-making chain, and utilize available sales tools to close large opportunities
• Identify and establish reseller channel partnerships as well as relationships with key technology partners as applicable to driving revenues
• Identify and participate in key industry trade shows in the region
• Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
• Help drive and prioritize product requirements based on customer insight
• Analyze sales statistics and project pipeline to determine growth potential
• Work with Systems and Support Engineers to analyze customer needs, craft and present solutions
• Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and forecasts
• Control expenses to meet company budget guidelines
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
• 5 years’ experience in a sales management capacity selling to Pay-TV operators, broadcasters and content owners
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience selling video encoding/transcoding products
• Proven ability to meet revenue goals in a high-growth environment
• Extremely strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lead and coordinate internal teams
• Proven track record in prospecting and winning new business
• Experience of selling to complex accounts, with broad sets of decision makers and influencers
• Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
