Senior Marketing Manager, Acquisition, US Hispanic
DESCRIPTION
Audible is looking for a new Senior Marketing Manager, Acquisition, responsible for shaping innovative programs and executing strategies to drive successful customer acquisition and subsequently strong business metrics targeted specifically to the US Hispanic market. The focus will be on generating new Audible members from this important group of US consumers, across all of Amazon and Audible’s platforms, including web, mobile web, and apps via strategic marketing and messaging. They will have direct hands-on ownership as well as cross-functional coordination with teams in Product, User Experience, Creative, and Technology—as well as agencies and strategic partners—to drive new customer acquisition within spend efficiency goals. The role requires a passion for results, a commitment to action-oriented analysis, an attitude that anything is possible, and a relentless focus on the customer.
The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical self-starter with 5+ years’ marketing experience, ideally with specific experience in customer acquisition, as well as previous experience marketing to the US Hispanic audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all customer acquisition initiatives targeted to the US Hispanic Market from idea through execution, including determining the optimal creative, channel mix and budget.
• Grow, develop, and optimize all paid and organic marketing channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, SEO, Mobile Store and App Install activity against customer acquisition and efficiency goals.
• Monitor and analyze performance to devise ways of spending more efficiently. Provide thorough analysis of each channel’s impact, both in terms of transactional and incremental value.
• Interface with Google and media agencies as well as Internal Stakeholders to find new areas of growth.
• Manage third party agencies in order to deliver against goals. Report on progress against goals and other relevant metrics to internal stakeholders.
• Identify conversion marketing strategies and testing pipelines (A/B and multivariate) that will support the conversion of US Hispanic prospects into members.
• Manage all Marketing campaigns targeted to the US Hispanic audience and adjust tactics to meet objectives and budgets.
• Implement and continually test creative and messaging to support campaigns.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; at ease when dealing with senior management.
• An understanding of Internet business models and web technologies.
• An understanding of web optimization best practices.
• An understanding of conversion optimization best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar required. MBA Preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong digital marketing experience driving acquisition (e.g., Paid Search. Display, Wireless media), with a solid understanding of the full customer lifecycle.
• Experience marketing to the US Hispanic market, including an understanding of consumer trends among this population, across both behaviors and preferences.
• Demonstrated understanding of site optimization, UX and persuasive marketing techniques in the driving of new member conversion.
• Budget and forecasting management experience, including creating “what if” scenarios.
• Experience with gathering and utilizing customer insights.
• Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics
• Ability to be adaptable, experience in dealing with ambiguity and enjoy problem solving.
• Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment.
• Solid organizational and project management skills
• Passion for books and / or digital entertainment
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish proficiency required.
