Director, Product Management (Salesforce DMP)
Salesforce DMP enables the modern marketer to light up every cross-functional consumer touch point as a marketing touch point, fueled with first- and second-party data, ignited with artificial intelligence. The DMP provides always-on tools to inform and instruct 1:1 relationships with consumers from acquisition to retention.
The Salesforce DMP team is looking for a strong product manager to own Consumer Rights Management for the DMP. As Trust is Salesforce's #1 value, this is an opportunity for innovation and strong differentiation for the Salesforce DMP in the market. This hire will focus on ensuring a flexible and adaptable solution to current and evolving consumer consent, data protection and privacy laws, driving customer enablement and supporting key sales efforts. The successful candidate must understand digital marketing/advertising technology and regulatory trends while balancing software complexity, business value, and compliance responsibilities such as GDPR, in a rapidly evolving data protection and consumer privacy landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Manages the DMP Consumer Rights Management product roadmap. Makes tactical prioritization decisions for the DMP while collaborating in lock step with the broader Salesforce solutions.
• Proactively communicates with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner with respect to product requirements, planning, and progress. Builds trust with a diverse cross-functional stakeholder community and coordinates with other functional product owners and engineering leads to ensure alignment on the broader roadmap.
• Leads requirements gathering, develops user stories, prioritizes backlog, and writes acceptance criteria in coordination with the main stakeholders and other DMP Product Owners.
• Coordinates across product and functional lines to ensure DMP consumer rights management product initiatives are aligned across the company and business functions (customer success, product marketing, sales) are empowered to succeed.
• Enables customers and product support on new feature releases. Supports sales on key accounts. Some international travel may be required.
Desired traits and experience:
• 5+ experience working in a dynamic SaaS environment, able to work within a cross-functional team structure, yet is also comfortable executing independently

• Experience with Consumer Data Protection and Privacy
• A natural leader empowered through humility
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fun, reasonable, and knowledgeable about the product and market
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as strong customer-facing presentation skills
The following would be a plus:
