About the role
We are on a mission to give consumers certainty and control when selling their home. In the Instant Offers product, Zillow buys homes directly from interested homeowners, thereby sparing them the tremendous stress and effort of selling. Instead, we take that upon ourselves by quickly preparing these homes for the market and re-selling them. This is a key initiative at Zillow, and a big part of defining the future of real estate.
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing Manager to lead the cross-functional teams responsible for launching and scaling this Instant Offers product. The Director of PMM is responsible for partnering with Product, Brand, Marketing channels and Operations to develop and execute integrated launch plans — including generating insights to inform outreach strategies and programs, positioning, messaging, and creative assets.
Success in this role means leading the team to develop breakthrough marketing initiatives that connects Zillow’s consumer audience to the Zillow Instant Offer product — helping people see the benefits, inspires them to try, and excites them to tell their friends and family.

About the team
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
• Create effective go-to-market strategies considering value proposition, target audiences, competitive landscapes, and other factors by collaborating closely with cross-functional figure out effective launch strategy and communications sequencing.
• Partner with Brand, Performance, Email Marketing channel leaders to create comprehensive and innovative marketing plans.
• Work with Research & Analytics to generate quantitative and qualitative insights to influence communications strategy and inform go-to-market plans / product positioning so what we're building adds the most possible value to the end consumer.
• Develop, support and build an elite product marketing team by investing in and hiring excellent people, and supporting them with the resources and infrastructure to scale.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in media and content marketing, the broader online ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
• Influence strategy on product(s) and features as they evolve and/or launch.

Who you are
• 10 + years’ experience leading teams in product marketing or brand management within a consumer tech company
• Strong analytic skills and the ability to dig deep into data and make recommendations based on data
• Experience creating marketing plans and messaging documents to support products
• Experience in developing product concepts and campaigns from conception through implementation
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Consistently uses communications skills and project management skills
• Ability to expertly analyze opportunities and present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams.
• Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion
• A bias for action – we move fast and think big.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• MBA preferred but not required.
• Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: Digital Marketing, Marketing Reporting, Marketing Analytics & Dashboards, Marketing Operations Management, Media Company / Publisher Sales/ Account Management/ Operations, Advertising Agency Sales/ Account Management/ Operations, Hyper Local Marketing, Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, Programmatic Marketing
