What You'll Do
We are looking for a dynamic team leader in the Data Center Supply Chain organization. The Data Center space is a combination of Cisco’s Unified Computing Systems and Nexus Switching Portfolio.
The empowered leader is accountable for all cost, quality and supply chain readiness criteria for a specific set of products or programs. You are responsible for the following:
• Establishes and influences Supply Chain business partnership within CDO, primary focal point to Business Entities, facilitates between Product Teams and Manufacturing to ensure alignment, owns product/platform Supply Chain and DFx readiness, performs long range cost and quality performance planning.
• Building and leading an integrated product lifecycle team. Represents Product Operations on Supply Chain boards, and actively participates in manufacturing initiatives.
• Establishes the overall Product Operations business plan in partnership with Manufacturing and Engineering: allocates resources appropriately to drive the success of company operations.
• Leads product/platform Supply Chain and Manufacturing readiness activities; drives management of the product throughout its lifecycle.
• Runs an organization of multiple managers and senior-level professionals within Cisco Product Operations functions which include both Engineering and Business professionals
• Negotiates with and influences decision-making at the senior management and executive level in order to gain cross-functional support of Product Operations project objectives and initiatives
• Provides coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports; builds and directs talent-building and development objectives for the organization; builds a culture of continuous improvement.

In this role, you will partner with our business units and executives, serving as a strategic thought partner in helping them to take care of their highest priority strategic questions. As a key member of the broader Operations organization you will interface across operations from go -to-market to delivery teams.

Minimum requirements include:
• Applies in-depth knowledge of own function, business and commercial expertise to differentiate Cisco from the competition and to solve critical issues successfully and innovatively
• Accountable for establishing annual organizational objectives and priorities and for ensuring performance and results of one area.
• Contributes to the development of product or functional business strategy
• Provide leadership and direction through managers, senior managers and/or high level individual contributors
• Guided by functional strategy, decisions impact overall success of functional, division or company operations’
• Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems that impact design/selling success or address future concepts products or technologies
• Level and Nature of Interactions Manages a large unit/multiple units with comprehensive management responsibilities
• Evaluates key business challenges and has the ability to complete complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross-functional impact; directs the development of new or innovative solutions and uses ground-breaking methods to think beyond existing solutions
• Influences the opinions and decision-making of others internally at the executive level and externally with customers; demonstrates leadership in driving quality considerations and standards cross-functionally and with management; mentors beyond the team and extends the reach of the manager
• Bachelors, plus 15 years of related experience, or Masters, plus 12 years of related experience or PhD, plus 8 years of related experience
