About the role:
We’re looking for Director of Content Marketing to own our content marketing strategy and brand voice. You’ll be the key linchpin of the marketing team to unite corporate communications and the demand generation team. You’ll also be working across Limeade to create and tell the Limeade story.
Responsibilities:
• Owns brand voice for Limeade and is responsible for evolving the voice as needed
• Key contributor to corporate messaging and narrative storytelling projects
• Drives integrated content strategy for Limeade
• Owns content marketing campaigns for Limeade, managing our integrated marketing calendar, and working across teams to create content
• Provides editorial direction for public-facing Limeade POVs and other marketing materials
• Strategic oversight of the corporate blog
• Identifies thought leadership opportunities and writes high-impact, complex, compelling stories
• Partners with creative design, UX, sales, customer service, Limeade Institute and product teams to tell an integrated story
• Works with account-based marketing team to provide guidance for personalized quarterly campaigns for key accounts
• Guides and mentors other content creators
• Educates LimeMates on brand guidelines, grammar, voice, style and storytelling best practices
• Researches, tests, repurposes and scales content across marketing channels
• Shares content initiatives, best practices and learnings through emails, brown bags and other informational workshops
Requirements:
• Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
• An awesome teammate who is passionate about our mission and our work
• Experience managing and mentoring team members
• Candidates should have at least 7-8+ years of relevant integrated marketing or content marketing experience
• Ability to drive content marketing, awareness-building, and demand generation
• Must have exceptional writing and storytelling skills (writing samples required) including experience ghost writing articles, contributing to a corporate blog and managing executive thought leadership
• Ability to balance need for creativity with a data-driven approach to measuring impact and success
• Has exceptional attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all communications deliverables
• Can manage multiple communication projects simultaneously and drive strong work-back plans and milestones
• Ability to work effectively at all levels - with exceptional poise and executive maturity
• Extensive cross-group collaboration and ability to influence at all levels of the company
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Geek out over industry trends
