Job Description

Description
Priceline.com – a part of Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG; formerly known as The Priceline Group), a highly profitable global online travel company with a market capitalization of over $100 billion – is looking for a Director of Data Analytics & Infrastructure to join its Strategic Planning & Analysis team. The individual will report directly to the VP of Finance and will serve as an integral member of a team with a mission to rebrand priceline.com FP&A as go-to strategic thought partners within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of analysts
• Strategically develop and implement analytics methods
• Ensure key performance metrics are captured in order to provide actionable insights
• Maintain and enhance data and reporting infrastructure
• Document strategies and processes and recommend improvements
• Implement and configure analytics platforms and facilitate analytics code implementations
• Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to problem solving
• Gather and prioritize requirements and opportunities based on business metrics
• Identify strategic opportunities using data and set them in motion
• Challenge the status quo; propose innovative solutions and compel change
Educational and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or other quantitative discipline
• 3-5 years of management experience
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
• Data Engineering and data environment maintenance
• Essbase, Hyperion, and Oracle Cloud experience
• Advanced MS Office and VBA skills
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)
• PowerShell
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
• Enjoy using data (big and small) to come to actionable conclusions
• Demonstrated ability to learn and master new subject areas quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work in a small team with little direction
• Basic knowledge of Regular Expressions (preferred but not required)
• Strong persuasion skills
• Experience implementing production-quality reporting
